Eine Cuvée aus allen autochthonen roten Rebsorten des Weingutes. Ein Teil wurde in Lagares vergoren. Alle Rebsorten werden separat ausgebaut. Danach für 18 Monate im gebrauchten Barrique. Die Nase ist super expressiv. Pflaumen, Sauerkirsche, auch ein wenig Em-Eukal und Lakritze. Die Ätherik kommt wunderbar zum Vorschein. Darunter legt sich eine hochfeine und dezente Steinigkeit. Am Gaumen samtige Aromen von reifen, roten Früchten, feine Sauerkirsche mir roter Johannisbeere und Schlehe, alles unterlegt mit dezenten Blütenanklängen und einem ganz feinen Vanillehauch vom Ausbau im neuen und gebrauchten Holz. Die Charmanz ist wunderschön, schmeichelnd, seidig und köstlich. Ein Wein der eigentlich zu jeder Situation hervorragend passt. Im Preis-Genuss-Verhältnis einer der Top-Weine unseres Sortiments.

The serious and austere 2020 Tinto is classical, balanced and harmonious with the freshness of the Chocapalha wines. It comes from a blend looking for those characteristics, and it matured in well-seasoned, neutral barrels to respect the purity of the wine. It was a little closed and took time to open up in the glass, delivering an elegant nuanced and serious wine. It is 35% Touriga Nacional, 25% Tinta Roriz, 25% Castelão, 8% Alicante Bouschet and 7% Touriga Franca. It has 13.5% alcohol, a pH of 3.49 and 6.15 grams of acidity. It's medium-bodied and balanced, classical with elegant tannins. It's evolving at a slow pace. It's an incredible value. 25,800 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2024.,,
