Lobenberg: Le Mont ist die jüngste Parzelle. Sie kam 1957 dazu und weist noch etwas Silex nebst Tuffstein auf. Sie ergeben bei Huet meist die komplexesten Weine mit ausgeprägt mineralischer Note. Der 1997er ist etwas dunkler als die edelsüßen aus 1989, eher bernsteinfarben als vollgolden. Die Aromatik zeigt viel Orangenschale, Quitten und Tabak. Ich meine, der Wein hat wohl etwas mehr rosinierte Trauben. Am Gaumen ist er saftig, eher jung. Aromen von Zitronen, Datteln und Kumquats. Die Süße ist fein eingebunden. Ein grandioser angereifter Moelleux. 97-98/100

Rich and pure at the same time, with some white pepper flavors. On the palate, this is a perfect bottle: bright and shining, with great finesse and energy, enormously vital and mineral, with great tension and just the perfect sweetness. Nicely balanced and with a firm and tightly woven finish, with grip and concentration, this wine indicates a great aging potential. 98/100
