Toskana pur im Glas! Dichte, dunkle Beerenfrucht mit Pflaumen und Herzkirschen mit feinen Noten von Gewürzen, blondem Tabak und ätherischen Kräutern mit Orangenschalen. Auch im Mund gleiten die dunklen Fruchtnoten mit reif polierten Tanninen über die Zunge. Etwas Milchschokolade spielt mit der zart rauchigen Mineralität, Vanille und Zedernholz vom Ausbau in französischer Eiche. Wenn sich das nun sehr delikat anhört ist das nicht die ganze Wahrheit – Luce hat ordentlich Druck drauf und schiebt von hinten, aber zugleich bringt das Weingut inzwischen eine beeindruckende Harmonie und Balance ins Glas.,

Blackcurrants, minerals, mint and hints of chocolate follow through to a medium to full body with linear fruit and tannins that run the length of the wine. The tannins are extremely polished, with beauty and style. Needs three or four years to come together. Best after 2027.

There is a savoury austerity to this wine, and clear floral aromatics alongside the underbrush, cranberry and crushed raspberry fruits, loaded with orange peel and liqourice. A beautiful expression of Brunello, with high herbal notes, Three years ageing in Stockinger casks (not barrels), then concrete vats for one year, then bottle for one more year before releas. Alessandro Marini director and winemaker. Great history also - when Tenuta Luce was first founded, the joint venture of Mondavi-Frescobaldi decided not to make a Brunello within the Luce range to avoid competition with Castelgiacondo, but when joint venture fiinished in 2004, Laberto Frescobaldi immediately used the single vineyard of Sangiovese owned by Luce to make a Brunello from 2003 vintage. The plot is located in the higher part of the vineyard, at the highest elevation of 450m, where in winter they occasionally see snowfall. This vintage was first released March 2026.

Aromas and flavors of lavender, plum, black cherry, vanilla, earth and resin are the hallmarks of this concentrated yet lively red. Firm, ripe tannins give the finish grip for now, yet this red is complex and long, with all of its components in the right place. Sangiovese and Merlot. Best from 2026 through 2042.

Kraftvolles Rubin mit leichtem Violettschimmer. Eröffnet mit etwas kühler Nase nach Heidelbeeren, Brombeeren und Tabak. Am Gaumen griffiges Tannin, herzhaft, viel dunkle Beerenfrucht, im Finale leider etwas rau.
