-- Parker: Parker zu Triumvirat XV Grande Cuvée Brut 2015: Disgorged in April 2024 after 95 months sur lattes, the 2015 Triumvirat XV Grande Cuvée Brut (Disgorged April 2024) is a blend of 61% Pinot Noir, 20% Meunier and 19% Chardonnay that has been aged partly in small barrels for eight months before the triage in May 2016. The wine is deep, pure and mineral on the nose and populated with truffle aromas. Dense, fresh and saline on the palate, this is a ravishingly fine and vibrant, lingeringly salty and elegant, weightless yet intense sparkling wine with a long, complex and stimulating finish. Tasted at the Raumland degustation in Hamburg in October 2024. *** Parker zu Triumvirat XV Grande Cuvée Brut Chardonnay Unplugged 2015: Disgorged in April 2024 after 95 months sur lattes, the 2015 Triumvirat XV Grande Cuvée Brut Chardonnay Unplugged opens with a pure, intense and concentrated, lovely iodine-inflected and complex nose with perfectly ripe fruit and chalky notes. Pure and enormously saline on the palate, this is a dense, tense and stimulating Chardonnay with substance and a perfect amalgam of ripe fruit and melting stones. This insanely charismatic sparkling wine is entirely based on the partly (47%) barrel-fermented Chardonnay used for the regular Triumvirat XV. Tasted at the Raumland degustation in Hamburg in October 2024. *** Parker zu Triumvirat XV Grande Cuvée Brut Pinot Noir Unplugged 2015: Made from the same Pinot Noir that was aged for eight months in small barrels and was selected for the regular Triumvirat, the 2015 Triumvirat XV Grande Cuvée Brut Pinot Noir Unplugged is deep, intense and vinous on the nose that is clearly driven by Pinot Noir and provided with cherry aromas and iodine substance. Pure, dry and saline on the palate, this is a remarkably fine, fresh and structured sparkling wine with a still-young but long, vinous and saline finish. Disgorged in April 2024 after 95 months sur lattes. Tasted at the Raumland degustation in Hamburg in October 2024.
