Meandro Douro White
The 2024 Meandro Branco began in 2013 with grapes from two vineyards, one Rabigato and the other Arinto, in the Douro Superior, because they didn't want to go and source grapes from the same place as everybody else, namely Porrais. So, they bought these vineyards that are 500 meters from the property. Later, they found more small plots of both varieties. Today, it has a little more Rabigato than Arinto, two varieties they feel behave well in their zone. The wine is mostly in stainless steel. This is young and tender, floral, faintly balsamic and has very good freshness and acidity. It has 12.2% alcohol, a pH of 3.3 (it doesn't go through malolactic) and has a salty twist in the finish, a characteristic of the whites in the zone. 41,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in May 2025.
