The 2022 Masdache is a village white from La Geria in Lanzarote, a zone in the center of the island. It's a blend of Malvasía Volcánica and Listán Blanco. The zone produces wines that tend to have finesse and a sapid palate and give notes of fennel, aniseed and aromatic herbs. Half of the volume matured in oak and the rest was kept in stainless steel, so it has less creaminess than the 2020 I had tasted last time. It keeps the poise and elegance, despite being one of the warmest zones of La Geria. In 2021, this wine was not produced.
