Dieser Rosso ist tatsächlich ein Brunello, denn alle Trauben kommen vom selben Weinberg. Das Weingut Salvioni ist absolut winzig. Im Keller stehen fünf große Botti, acht weitere lagern in einem externen Keller. Für den Rosso wird das delikateste Fass gewählt, das schon in seiner Jugend früher zugänglich ist als die anderen Fässer. Im Mund ganz klar ein Brunello, weit über 200 der 250 Erzeuger in Montalcino wären sicher sehr stolz auf diesen Brunello. Samt und Seide, Balance und Harmonie in Reinkultur, perfekt integrierte Säure, Burgund aus Montalcino. Stylisch und schwebend, einfach ein Traum. Ein Rosso ganz nahe der Perfektion.
