Parker über: La Brena 1er Cru

-- Parker: Parker zu 2019: There is a change in the 2019 La Breña from the 2018, as this year they added an adjacent plot to complete 0.5 hectares and could produce more of the wine. The wine is maturing in a 1,200-liter oak vat, from where I tasted it halfway through its élevage. 2019 is a warmer vintage than 2018, and the wines are riper—this La Breña surpassed the 15% alcohol mark and has soft acidity. It has a ripe nose without excess, mixing wild berries, flowers and herbs. However, there is more definition on the palate, the tannins show the chalky texture of the granite soils and the wine comes through as balanced. They expect to be able to fill some 1,500 bottles of this around June 2021. 94-95/100

Comando G Viticultores
