Dieser hellrote Süßwein ist eine absolute Rarität! Zweigelt als Süßwein, mit genialer Säure und wirklich großer Länge. Milchschokolade, Süßkirsche, etwas Rumtopf, leicht oxidative Anklänge von hellem Tabak. Sehr komplexes Spiel, zurückhaltende Süße, ein berauschend fruchtig lebendiges Erlebnis zur Schokolade oder zum schokoladigen Dessert. Quasi ein Portweinersatz aus dem Burgenland. 92-93/100

This has a pale ruby color and pretty aromas of watermelon, pink grapefruit, cherries and dark brown sugar. It’s sweet but bright, with lots of fruit purity and a hint of light tannins. Drink or hold.

The orange-red 2022 Beerenauslese Zweigelt is intense and concentrated on the vinous nose that reveals candied citrus fruit and cherry aromas intertwined with bitter orange and sugared grapefruit notes. Very elegant and refined on the palate, with fine tannins, remarkable salinity and a mineral structure, this is a mouthfilling and lingering Zweigelt with very good length and a food-friendly character. Kracher's Zweigelt BA is served with Sachertorte at the Sacher hotel in Vienna. 11% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in Illmitz, Austria, in June 2025.

The 2022 Zweigelt Beerenauslese presents a lovely color that unites amber with red and garnet tinges. A subtle nose offers baked plum, introducing serene, smooth, luscious fruit of plum compote tempered by gentle brightness. Notions of plum are multi-dimensional: the fruit, the juice, the compote, the baked skin. All shimmer and leave a lasting impression. (Sweet)
