Lobenberg: Ein nur 8 Hektar großes Weingut im Besitz von Christian Moueix. Sehr tiefgründiger Kiesboden mit Lehm. Also sowohl fein als auch gleichzeitig sehr profund und mit guter Wasserversorgung. 100% Merlot. Feine, dichte Schwarzkirsch-Nase. Etwas Brombeere und Cassis darunter. Dunkle Schokolade, Veilchen und Lakritze. Sehr typisch Pomerol, sehr typisch 2017 mit dieser süßen Würzigkeit. Im Mund schwarze Frucht. Ziemlich extrahiert. Kraftvoll, sehr viel Tannin, das zwar fein ist, aber doch irgendwie nicht so elegant wie 2016 rüberkommt. Mittlere Länge und leicht bitter hinten mit einer Salzspur. Nicht groß wie 16, aber passt schon. 93-95/100
