Lobenberg: Sehr voluminös strömende, hocharomatische Nase. Zwetschge, Walderdbeere, rote und schwarze Kirsche, etwas Melone, Quitte, ein Hauch Anis und Minze, Milchschokolade. Spannende schöne rassige Nase. Diese Rasse zieht sich sofort in den Mund durch. Tolle frische Säure bis ins lange Finale hinein. Rote und schwarze Früchte im Wechsel, Kirsche, Johannisbeere, Brombeere, aber nie zu aufdringlich. Sattes geschliffenes Tannin kommt immer wieder hoch, hallt immer wieder nach. Der Wein hat genug Fleisch für diese hohen Säure- und Tanninwerte, auch genug Alkohol und Glyzerin. Alles bleibt in Balance. Großer Conseillante, steht Clinet und Evangile nicht nach. 98-99/100

Jahrgangsbericht

Der legendäre Ausnahme-Jahrgang 2010 gilt im Bordeaux als strammer Langstreckenläufer von epochaler Klasse. Eine extrem trockene Reifezeit bescherte den Cabernets eine phänomenale Dichte, reife Säure und massive Tanninstruktur – ein tiefgründiger, hochpräziser Klassiker mit unendlichem Lagerpotenzial.

-- Neal Martin: Tasted at the Union de Grand Cru in London. This could be the finest La Conseillante in many years and dares surpass the 2009. The nose on the La Conseillante is a real temptress, unfurling beautifully in the glass with copious blackberry, raspberry, sage, mineral and light violet scents that demonstrate exquisite delineation. The palate is silky smooth with perfectly judged acidity. There is a kind of...serenity about this La Conseillante, something effortless that truly great wines have. It just knows that it is one of the finest wines in recent years. This is a brilliant wine from Jean-Michel Laporte – a benchmark for one of Pomerol’s oldest tenants. Tasted November 2012. 98/100

Sexy and opulent, yet also classy and elegant, it’s a sensational Pomerol that has another three decades of life ahead of it. 97+/100

-- Gabriel: Ich kann mich nicht erinnern, bei einem Primeur-La-Conseillante eine solch dunkle Farbe gesehen zu haben. Violett mit lila Schimmer. Heidelbeeren, Brombeerstauden, Rauch, Tabak und eine Spur Eucalyptus. Fester Gaumen mit Fleisch und Muskeln, Lakritze, getrocknete Heidelbeeren, absolut tiefgründig, eine Vollpackung mit unglaublich viel Finessen. Wenn ich auch schon oft das Gefühl hatte, diese Domaine bei Fassproben ehrlich zu bestrafen, so darf ich heuer zugeben, dass ich ihn noch nie so genial fand. Drei Mal verkostet. Ein aufrichtiges Bravo an das Conseillante-Team mit Michel Laporte im Lead! 19/20

-- Parker: A brilliant effort from this property, known for the sheer elegance and finesse of its wines, the 2010 La Conseillante offers back-to-back monumental efforts, particularly given the remarkable 2009. This estate has been on a hot streak of late. The 2010 is a slightly bigger, richer wine, but without losing its floral, elegant mulberry, black raspberry and sweet kirsch notes. Combine those with some licorice, subtle new oak and a hint of forest floor, and the result is a medium to full-bodied, rich, complex wine that has striking aromatics and perfect balance in the mouth. Forget it for 3-5 years and drink it over the following 30. 96/100

-- Gerstl: Der Duft ist eine Sensation, so unglaublich fein, so genial komplex, so irre tiefründig, da kündigt sich ein La Conseillante von unglaublicher Grösse an. Ein Gaumenfluss wie Samt und Seide, das ist bei diesem Wein eine Selbstveratändlichelit, auch Fülle, Harmonie und edle Aromatik sind nichts Außergewöhnliches, aber der hier hat einfach von allem noch ein Bisschen mehr, das ist irgendwie ein ÜBER-La Conseinnete und doch ist er eher feiner und zarter als gewohnt. aber auch wieder rassiger, lebendiger, einfach sinnlich bis zum geht nicht mehr. 19/20
