Heiner Lobenberg über:
Chateau de La Dauphine 2016

93–94
/100

Suckling über: Chateau de La Dauphine

-- Suckling: A firm and chewy red with dark-berry, chocolate and walnut character with some salty, mineral undertones. Full body. Dense and driven for the vintage. A blend of 90 per cent merlot and ten per cent cabernet franc. 93/100

Falstaff über: Chateau de La Dauphine

-- Falstaff: Tiefdunkles Rubingranat, fester Kern, violette Reflexe, zarte Randaufhellung, einladende Edelholznote, schwarze Beerenfrucht, frische Orangenzesten. Saftig, elegant, gut balanciert, feine Kirschenfrucht, integrierte Tannine, hat Charme, vielseitig einsetzbar. 93/100

Wine Cellar Insider über: Chateau de La Dauphine

-- Wine Cellar Insider: With deep color, you catch the floral, blackberry, licorice and vanilla nose first. The lush textures, freshness and juicy fruits in the finish make this wine already delicious, and it should age for a few years too. 92/100

Decanter über: Chateau de La Dauphine

-- Decanter: The property of the Moueix family until 2000, this handsome château of 1750 is owned now by the Labrune family The black-fruited nose is complex, with spicy oak and a light floral character too. Rich and velvety, very concentrated and spicy, this doesn't quite conceal the high alcohol. Spicy and vigorous, it's imposing and has enough acidity to give drive and persistence. 92/100
