Lobenberg: Liegt auf einem Kalksteinplateau. Überwiegend Semillon. In der Nase nicht ganz so ausdrucksstark wie Doisy Daene. Es fehlt der strukturierende, feine, mineralische Bitterstoff. Aber die Süße ist fein. Nicht fett, nicht pappig. Das ist wirklich ein feines Jahr hier in Barsac. Macht viel Freude. Nicht zu viel Exotik. Sehr viel klare Steinobstfrucht. Sehr harmonischer Mund mit viel Frische. Gäbe es Doisy Daene und Climens nicht in Barsac, ich wäre begeistert. Den beiden muss er sich aber klar beugen. 95-96/100

-- Jane Anson: Oh that's lovely. Ginger and sumac spice, and a gorgeous richness with the perfect balance of minerality. Rich but pure botrytis character and gently curling smoky notes leap out of the glass. Amazing persistency, easily one of the best wines in the tasting. This is excellent; succulent and mouthwatering.
