Langer, tiefer Nachhall.

Parker über: Champagne Dom Pérignon Brut

The 2000 Brut Dom Perignon is a gorgeous, seductive wine that floats on the palate with remarkable grace. Toasty aromas meld into freshly cut flowers, apricots and pears, with sweet notes of mint and licorice that linger on the long finish. This perfumed, inviting Dom Perignon is elegance personified, and in this vintage the wine fully merits its lofty reputation. According to winemaker Vincent Chaperone there is only one disgorgement date for the first release of Dom Perignon, and the 2000 was disgorged over a period of weeks in March and April, 2007.

Wine Enthusiast über: Champagne Dom Pérignon Brut

Nutty and toasty, this is already maturing. It has a ripe, soft texture, deliciously balanced between acidity, grapefruit and riper peach flavors. It feels sumptuous, rich and certainly ready to drink.

Galloni über: Champagne Dom Pérignon Brut

The 2000 Dom Pérignon is a gorgeous wine to drink now, as it is already showing quite a bit of aromatic and flavor complexity. Although the 2000 doesn't have the multi-dimensional personality or structure of the very best DPs, it does offer tremendous drinking pleasure today. Hints of pastry, baked apple and mint add nuance, with a touch of reduction that lends an added kick of freshness. Ultimately, the 2000 is a very drinkable and delicious Dom Pérignon.

Jeb Dunnuck über: Champagne Dom Pérignon Brut

A big, rich, toasty effort that fills the mouth with fruit, the 2000 Dom Perignon is one of the more full-bodied, concentrated releases from this estate. Offering lots of orchard fruits, toasted nut/bread, and hints of white flowers, it has moderate acidity and a fleshy, layered texture. It’s drinking beautifully today and is ready to go.

The Wine Independent über: Champagne Dom Pérignon Brut

A wine of absolute drinkability. The maturity here is coming along at a nice and elegantly managed pace. While it may never reach the heights of the truly mercurial Dom Pérignons it will always hold its own and never have a reason to run off and hide in fear of competition. Engaging depth and length to keep you wanting to follow the wine in the glass over some hours just to see what else it will show you.

Mein Winzer

Dom Perignon

Dom Perignon gilt »Erfinder« des Champagners. Als er diesen legendären Stoff per Zufall in der Flasche fand und trank, sprach er die berüchtigten Worte: »Ich trinke Sterne«.
