Suckling über:
Clos du Lican Blanc - Côte de Madame
If you like Condrieu, you’ll enjoy this viognier with its even better acidity and energy. Aromas of spices, orange blossoms, lemongrass, ginger, green curry, lanolin and melon. Lightly waxy, with lots of volume and an almost full body, but it’s not heavy on the palate. There’s a subtle spicy lift to the floral melon fruit. Really long and voluptuous but fresh and energetic. From 100% viognier vines that are over 20 years old planted on the higher tip of Clos du Lican. Aged in 300-liter barrels with one concrete egg tank. Around 325 cases made. 14% alcohol. Hard to resist, but will develop well the next several years. Drink or hold.
