La Revelia Godello
All from the immediate area around the winery itself, on the outskirts of Ponferrada, this is fermented and aged for a little under a year in 500L barrels. It was a great year for ripening of the Godello vines and the resulting wine offers fantastic balance. It is quite bold in terms of fruit profile with lemon, pear and fresh apricot but the acidity is impressive. The wood brings a certain fresh, grainy texture, carefully framing the wine, and despite its verticality, the palate still offers an appealing creamy texture. The first year that Emilio Moro could make the wine in their own winery, it is perfect to drink now but deserves some time.
