Leuchtendes mittleres Rot. Schicke Kirschnase, feine blumige Note darunter, Veilchen, Rosenduft. Auch Trockenblumen und Graphit, Steine. Nur in 600 Liter Tonneaus ausgebaut, also sehr zurückhaltendes Holz, die Frucht und der feine, seidige Schliff auf Kirschfrucht steht ganz vorne. Charmant mit seidigen Fluss, einfach nur schön und lecker, Ribera mal nicht zu fett sondern elegant und trinkig.

Der vom Cool-Climate geprägte Jahrgang 2024 gilt in Spanien bei den Top-Winzern als grandioser Erfolg. Deutlich schlanker und kühler als 2023, bestechen die Weine dank extrem zeitiger Lese mit vibrierender Rasse, brillanter Frische und einer aufregenden, glasklaren Struktur auf dem Niveau der Legendenjahre.

Parker über: Antidoto Tempranillo

The unbottled 2024 Antídoto is pure Tinto Fino (they used the grapes from the white vines for the rosé) that fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts and matured for nine months in 600-liter French oak barrels, 25% of them new. It packs a punch at 14.7% alcohol and is juicy and full-bodied but balanced; they did a very soft vinification, and it's a more fragile vintage. It's very primary, with some toasted notes that suggest waiting a bit more. It still has grip and some tannins but feels more fine-boned. 173,000 bottles.

Suckling über: Antidoto Tempranillo

One can see the potential of 2024 from the fruit of this wine. Fresh and pure though slightly reductive at this stage, this is full of black cherries, plum skins and some dried herbs. Tannins are firm and nicely chewy with medium to full body and a pristine finish. Drink in 2027.

Tim Atkin über: Antidoto Tempranillo

David Hernando estimates that 400 different parcels make a contribution to this varietal Tempranillo from Aldea de San Esteban, Miño de San Esteban, Olmillos, Quintanilla and San Esteban de Gormaz. Curated in 25% new wood, it's a comparatively forward, easydrinking style with some subtle reduction, plum, raspberry and black cherry fruit and a kiss of vanilla spice.

This wine is our flagship. Antídoto was the first wine made by the winery, looking for the depth and features of the Ribera del Duero of Soria. It is described as a fresh and bright wine, with a remarkable character, to be enjoyed on all occasions. This tinto fino has a short maceration and it is aged in French oak barrels (600L).
