Lobenberg: Extrem trinkiger, fast Weißweinartiger Manzanilla-Sherry mit genialer, Kräuer- und Zitrusfrische und Salzfracht. Einzellage und nur ein Jahrgang. 30 Monate unter Hefeflor gereift. Aber glasklar auch ein perfekter Essensbegleiter, kaum aufgesprittet, in seiner focussierten Geradlinigkeit so unglaublich überzeugend zum Essen oder als kühler Apero auf der Terrasse. Einer der Einstiegsweine der neuen Sherry-Zukunft und somit best of both worlds aus Manzanilla-Sherry und Zechwein. Eine Ode an die Freude und Trinkspaß. 95-96/100

-- Parker: The 2020 Manzanilla ÁS de Mirabrás Sumatorio is a Manzanilla produced from the ÁS de Mirabrás white wine from a single harvest, produced with Palomino from the Miraflores, Añina, Macharnudo, Campix and Santa Lucía pagos on albariza white soils with plants averaging 30 years of age. The white wine from 2020 had 13% alcohol and was fortified to 15% and was left in bota with flor for three years, so it's a lighter style of Manzanilla, gentler. It's expressive and floral, with notes of rose petals and talcum powder intermixed with hints of esparto grass, nuanced and elegant, clearly Manzanilla but keeping traces of white wine, with youth but the added complexity. It's bottled unfiltered, so it can sometimes be a bit cloudy. It has lightness. They produced some 2,500 bottles that should be bottled in December 2023.

The veil of flor has had a light influence, providing aromatic complexity and a crispness, but without reaching a level of influence one would get with a solera system. It is a Manzanilla in one way but is also a white wine.
