Lobenberg: Fast schwarze Farbe. Tiefe Aromen von schwarzen Beeren, Zedernholz, Tabak, Erde und etwas Teer steigen auf. Im Mund fast übervoll, ganz dicht, alles auskleidend, konzentrierter, langer Abgang. Typ finessereicher und feiner Blockbuster. Klingt widersprüchlich, aber man muss es probiert haben. Der 2010 ist ein würdiger, sogar verbesserter Nachfolger der großen 2009er und 2005er! Ein grandioser Wein aus Toro. Trinktemperatur ca. 16-17 Grad C. Hervorragend zur Lammkeule mit Aromaten. 96-98/100

Parker über: Pago La Jara Tempranillo

-- Parker: The 2010 Pago La Jara is produced with Tempranillo grapes from five plots of vineyards totaling five hectares. The grapes fermented in 3,000-kilo oak vats with indigenous yeasts and aged for 18 months in different sized and different origin oak barrels. It has a wild character, with notes of morello cherries, damsons, spices (clove, nutmeg) and well-integrated oak. The palate is medium to full-bodied with polished tannins, lively and fresh, with good acidity and balance. 4,800 bottles produced. It should live long. Drink 2015-2020. 93/100

-- Galloni: Glass-staining ruby. Expressive, smoke-accented bouquet of ripe dark berries, incense and smoky minerals, with vanilla, mocha and licorice undertones. Sweet, spicy and expansive in the mouth, offering powerful blueberry and cherry liqueur flavors energized by a peppery spice quality.
