Getrocknete Aprikosen und Pfirsiche in der Nase. Feine, elegante Struktur, klare Fruchtaromen, sehr lebendig. Der wohl beste Albarino aus Rias Baixas, zu Recht immer hoch bewertet von der internationalen Fachpresse.

Der vom Cool-Climate geprägte Jahrgang 2024 gilt in Spanien bei den Top-Winzern als grandioser Erfolg. Deutlich schlanker und kühler als 2023, bestechen die Weine dank extrem zeitiger Lese mit vibrierender Rasse, brillanter Frische und einer aufregenden, glasklaren Struktur auf dem Niveau der Legendenjahre.

Parker über: Pazo de Senorans Blanco Albarino

The young 2024 Albariño is pale, clean and harmonious, reflecting a very balanced year in the Salnés valley. They look for volume with freshness, and this has 13.5% alcohol, a pH of 3.2 and 6.7 grams of acidity. It has a nose of freshly cut grass, open, expressive and without reduction, and a tender and silky mouthfeel with a dry, varietal and elegant finish. 195,000 bottles produced.

One of those widely distributed Albariños that I'm always happy to find on a wine list, this is made with a mixture of purchased and home-grown grapes, all of them from the Val do Salnés. Described by Ana Quintela as a 'jovial' expression of the variety, it has a touch of natural spritz, jasmine and white pepper aromas and a classic palate of lime, peach and aniseed spice.
