Drawn from a specific parcel within Finca Las Cerriladas in the Monsterio section of Gualtallary, the 2025 El Camino de Las Flores is one of the more impressive white wines in the Zuccardi lineup. A distinctly floral and animated bouquet ceaselessly builds upon itself as it aerates, introducing a beautifully textured palate that is simultaneously fleshy, racy, tense and concentrated. This combination of weight and levity translates through the finish, which lingers persistently with mouthwatering acidity and an unwavering core of stony, mineral textures. This is a remarkable showing for being in such an embryonic state, suggesting it will drink quite well through its first decade.

Jeb Dunnuck über: El Camino De Las Flores
An earlier vintage of the 2025 Chardonnay El Camino de Las Flores was launched last year in La Place de Bordeaux, this following in its exceptional footsteps with graceful structure and cool-climate power, coming from the 4,462-foot Finca Las Cerrilladas's mountain desert air and calcareous soils. Aged in concrete for 10 months, it exudes exuberant acidity and aromas of the native vegetation, with lovely layers of fresh orchard fruit and flowers. A creamy center of rounded shoulders lead to a textured finish of polished minerality. An exceptional wine, it will age beautifully over the next 20 years.

Galloni über: El Camino De Las Flores
The 2025 El Camino de las Flores, 100% Chardonnay from Gualtallary and aged in concrete, comes from a parcel bordering native flora. It opens with hazelnut, wild jarilla and heterotheca alongside apple and pear. Appealing. The palate starts with some breadth, then tightens with a chalky texture, gaining energy through salinity and freshness. Long and focused, the 2025's appeal lies in its energy and sense of place rather than weight.

Colin Hay über: El Camino De Las Flores
This is the second vintage of Zuccardi’s high-altitude Chardonnay from Finca Las Cerrilladas in Gualtallary, planted at 1,360 metres and bottled from selected parcels near dry stream beds surrounded by native vegetation. Fermentation is in concrete tanks with no oak and no malolactic fermentation. This is all about terroir and less about the varietal. It’s also viscerally fresh. Gooseberry, white currant, mimosa, nettle and maybe a hint of jasmine. I find the 2025 more refined and elegant still than the 2024 which already had me in raptures! It’s so pure and crystalline, immediately vibrant, vibrant and electrical. The accent is on the green fruits and their freshness, with none of the richer, peachier notes of the 2024. There’s pink grapefruit on the finish with assorted citrus zests and the chalky limestone tannin tactility they impart. Terroir in a bottle. Just my style of top white!
Suckling über: El Camino De Las Flores
Aromas of white pears, minerals and touches of white almonds, chopped herbs and limes. Textured, voluminous and generous, with a slightly phenolic touch at the end. Fermented and aged in cement, without malolactic fermentation. Drink now or hold.
Jane Anson über: El Camino De Las Flores
Vivid citrus and green apple character, grip and salinity that holds on for a slow unroll. Bright zesty, citrus, white flowers, gunsmoke reduction, there is lees ageing here but without racking. Delivers energy, drinkability, hidden power, depths. This was a two-part vintage where had early harvest in the heat, then rain, then started again two weeks later. Tasted twice. The 2nd vintage under this name, but the vineyard dates back to 2015. 32ha estate, with 19ha in vines, 1360m altitude.
Falstaff über: El Camino De Las Flores
Elegant, cool, spicy bouquet with sea salt, mandarin, honeydew melon, grapefruit and a touch of toast. Good density, juicy, with fine grip and elegant acidity. Delicate white fruit, peach, nectarines, light herbal spice and a touch of quince on the finish. Good length.
