Lobenberg: Clos de Beze ist klar der König unter den Grands Crus aus Gevrey bei Faiveley dieses Jahr. Er hat die mineralische Strahlkraft des Latricieres und die Süße und den Charme des Mazis, vereint all das zu einem wahnsinnig konzentrierten Energiebündel voller Saftigkeit und Grandezza. Er hat ein bisschen mehr von allem, was man sich, wenn man es nicht probiert hat, kaum vorstellen kann. Er ist süßer, intensiver und reifer, aber zugleich feiner, mineralischer und straffer. Es ist schwer zu beschreiben, aber der Clos de Beze hat eine innere Balance und Einheit, die ihn einfach besser macht als alle anderen und das nicht nur ein bisschen. Ewiger Nachhall in erdbeeriger, cremig-süßer und salziger Länge. Ein ziemlich perfekter Wein. 100/100

Suckling über: Chambertin Clos de Beze Grand Cru

-- Suckling: A bit embryonic, but already deep with fine red berry aromas. In spite of the ample structure this moves gracefully over the palate. Then the turbo kicks in at the finish and races this off into the distance! 97-98/100

Decanter über: Chambertin Clos de Beze Grand Cru

-- Decanter: The 'classic' Clos de Bèze from Faiveley is blended from three parcels that total one hectare, all located in the centre of the climat. 'Serious but not severe' I wrote in my notes. The wine has admirable complexity and depth of flavour, with focused blackberry and mulberry fruit, notes of violets and peonies, ginger, star anise, and liquorice spice. There is all the lovely intensity and length of a top wine and enough freshness to keep it lively. 97/100

Parker über: Chambertin Clos de Beze Grand Cru

-- Parker: The 2022 Chambertin-Clos de Bèze Grand Cru is brilliant, bursting with aromas of sweet wild berries and cherries mingled with notions of peonies, vine smoke and incense. Full-bodied, layered and unctuous, with a thick but lively core of fruit framed by rich, powdery tannins, it concludes with a broad, saline finish. 94-96/100

Galloni über: Chambertin Clos de Beze Grand Cru

-- Galloni: The 2022 Chambertin Clos-de-Bèze Grand Cru offers red berry fruit on the nose, which feels slightly more rustic than the Mazis-Chambertin. It just needs to bind together during its élevage. The medium-bodied palate has a sweet core of red fruit and just a subtle savory, with an almost ferrous element and decent weight on the finish. I probably err towards the Mazis this year, but it is a 'solid' Clos-de-Bèze that will gain weight by the time of bottling. 93-95/100

-- Jancis Robinson: Cask sample. Fairly discreet nose at this point. Rich start – really precise and layered on the palate. This is one of those wines that really builds towards the finish, despite being a little dumb on the nose initially. 18/20
