Das ist die Einstiegslinie von Dominik Huber. Eine Cuvée aus überwiegend Carinena und etwas Garnacha. Bei Terroir al Limit hat man natürlich keinen austauschbaren Rotwein im Glas, sondern eine Visitenkarte des Hausstils. Spontane Vergärung, Ausbau im Beton. Das ergibt eine zart dunkelwürzige Cuvée mit feiner Säure, griffigem Tannin und dezent rauchiger Reduktionsnote. Raffiniert aber zugänglich und dabei enorm individuell. So wie wir es von Dominik Hubers Spitzenweinen gewohnt sind.

Jahrgangsbericht

Der Ausnahme-Jahrgang 2022 gilt in Spanien als historischer Meilenstein. Trotz Rekordhitze bestechen die Weine dank kühler Sommernächte mit verblüffend tiefen pH-Werten, spektakulärer Säurefrische und seidigen Tanninen – eine grandiose, perfekt balancierte Dichte auf Augenhöhe mit dem großen Bordeaux-Jahrgang.

Parker über: Terroir Historic Negre

The red 2022 Terroir Històric was produced with a blend of 75% Garnacha and 25% Cariñena from nine different villages where the soils are also different—slate, clay, granite and alluvial—from vines of around 20 years of age. The full clusters fermented with natural yeasts, and the wine matured for six months in stainless steel tanks. It's the ripest of the reds from 2022, with 14% alcohol but kept good freshness and a pH of 3.54. It's primary and juicy, young and tender, with fine tannins. Easy to drink. 30,000 bottles produced. It was bottled between April and May 2023.

A fine touch of reduction to the strawberries, chalk and wild red berries. Fine, dissolved tannins on the palate with a medium body and a juicy, fruity finish full of ethereal berries and citrus at the end. Drink or hold.
