Lobenberg: 70 % Sangiovese, 20% Merlot und 10% Syrah. Weder Chianti noch Super-Tuscan. Etwas Individuelles. Nach der Spontanvergärung in kleinen Gebinden reift der Wein sowohl in Betontanks als auch gebrauchten Barriques. Man riecht den Duft reifer, roter Früchte und schwarzer Beeren. Würziges Tannin, milde Säure im Hintergrund und ein mittelkräftiger Körper. Dann kommt ein Hauch mediterraner Gewürze im Mittelmund, der bis zum Ausklang mit viel Fruchtdruck anhält. Durch und durch ein charmanter Rotwein. Wein mit Persönlichkeit. 93/100
