-- Galloni: Luminous straw-yellow. Aromas of puff pastry, custard cream, botanical herbs, apple pie and orange oil on the inviting nose. Then dense and complex, offering creamy flavors similar to the aromas, complicated by a hint of fresh ginger. Closes dense and suave, with lingering notes of custard cream and savory pear. Beautiful sparkler. Disgorged in fall 2018, this is 100% Pinot Nero picked in three vineyards of the Belvedere property, located at 466 meters above sea level; the wine spent roughly eight years on the lees. 94/100
