Heiner Lobenberg über:
Chateauneuf L' Avenue 2018

Lobenberg: Im Gegensatz zum Amiral G. ist L'Avenue exotischer, weniger geradeaus, komplexer, vielschichtiger. Viel Lakritze mir rotfruchtigen Einflüssen, Orangenzesten, Reubuschtee. Blumig, Veilchen, viel exotisches Gewürz dazu. Anspruchsvoll und hintersinnig. 96-97/100

Parker über: Chateauneuf L' Avenue

-- Parker: All old-vine Grenache Blanc grown on galets roulés and red clay, the 2019 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc Clos du Belvedere boasts remarkable freshness and verve allied to ample weight and concentration. Scents of mixed citrus mark the nose, while the medium to full-bodied palate delivers scintillating notes of tangerine and lime, plus some gently herbal notes on the long, vibrant finish. It's clearly one of the best varietal Grenache Blancs to have passed this taster's lips, but I would suggest drinking it over the next several years to be sure to catch it in its youthful splendor. 94/100

Jeb Dunnuck über: Chateauneuf L' Avenue

-- Jeb Dunnuck: The 100% Grenache 2018 Châteauneuf Du Pape L'Avenue will spend 18 months in demi-muids. It has complexity and elegance as well as perfumed notes of black raspberries, spring flowers, orange zest, and incense. Medium to full-bodied, textured, and layered, it's very much in the style of the vintage with its elegance and suppleness yet has the balance and depth to keep for at least 10-12 years. 93-95/100
