Lots of blackberry, black truffle, dark chocolate and graphite aromas. Medium-bodied with fine tannins and a crunchy, polished finish. Dark berry and orange peel undertones. Beautiful now, but best after 2027.,,

With just under 2,000 cases produced, the 2023 Château Feytit-Clinet comes from one of my favorite producers in Pomerol, an estate located in the Clinet sector and run by Jérémy Chasseuil that's always worth seeking out. Based on 88% Merlot and 12% Cabernet Franc from gravel and clay soils and aged 15 months in 70% new French oak, it offers assorted darker berry fruits, scorched earth, chocolate, and leafy tobacco on the nose. On the palate, it's concentrated and full-bodied, with a broad, layered mouthfeel, velvety tannins, and a great finish. It's a rich, opulent, sexy wine in the vintage that's going to cruise for two decades or more. Drink 2026-2046.,,

Rich, lush, deep, and already just approachable, the wine pops with Its nose of flowers, mint, cocoa, and orange peel. The palate is lush, round, and ripe, finishing with multiple layers of spicy, creamy, black cherries, plums, and dark chocolate. The wine blends 90% Merlot, with 10% Cabernet Franc. Drink from 2028-2055.,

The 2023 Feytit-Clinet is fabulous. Rich and sumptuous in the glass, the 2023 offers up a heady mix of blue/black fruit, gravel, chocolate, scorched earth, lavender and liquified rocks. Feytit-Clinet is often a rich, structured Pomerol, but in 2023, the tannins are totally woven into the wine's fabric, making for a wine that marries power with finesse. Clean mineral notes extend the finish effortlessly. The 2023 will see 14-15 months in oak—70% new and 30% once-used barrels. Yields were a healthy 42 hectoliters per hectare. Tasted two times.

Medium plus to full intensity this is inky, with gorgeous violet reflections, grilled oak on the nose, intense but has good construction and a sense of reserve, Espresso and charred coffee bean, along with cassis and blueberry, silky, concentrated, appellation typicity, and a ton of personality.

Das sechs Hektar große Anwesen gehört der Familie Domergue. Nur fünf Hektar sind im Ertrag, ein echter Zwerg. Die Bewirtschaftung erfolgt seit vielen Jahren jedoch durch die berühmte Familie Jean-Pierre Moueix, zu der auch Chateau Petrus gehört.
