Lobenberg: Ganz klar aus dem Hause Casanova di Neri: fleischig, dicht, immens voll. Man wartet nun auf den Hammer, den Turbo, der diesen Kultwein offensichtlich macht und alles erklärt. Doch zunächst wird er erst mal fein und zeigt sich als klassischer Sangiovese Grosso um dann mit dichten Tanninen und einer speziellen Aromatik von Johannisbeere und Eisen den Unterschied zu machen. Sein feiner Gerbstoff lässt die Aromen immer wieder am Gaumen nachklingen. Einer der ersten Einzellagenweine Montalcinos extrem gesucht und das bei lediglich 7000 Flaschen Gesamtproduktion. 2015 vereint die geschmeidige Eleganz und kirschig süße Frucht aus 2012 mit der Power aus 2013. Ein ganz großer Wein. 100/100

-- Suckling: The density and energy to this Brunello lives up to its reputation, with superb depth and polish, showing terrific plum, blackberry and crushed-stone character. Slate and white pepper, too, as well as subtle rust and wrought iron. The finish goes on for minutes, yet it’s so deep and complete. A truly great wine. Drinkable now, but will go on for ever. 100/100

-- Falstaff: Glänzendes, sattes Rubingranat. Eröffnet mit leicht würzigen Noten, etwas Kardamomsamen, dann viel knackige, dunkle Kirsche, Maulbeere, im Hintergrund leichte Trüffelnote. Fächert sich am Gaumen breit auf, viel reife, saftige Frucht, öffnet sich im hinteren Verlauf mit dichtmaschigem, präzisem Tannin, überaus lange, herzhaft und zupackend, ein ausgesprochener Langläufer! 99/100

-- International Wine Report: The 2015 Cerretalto Brunello di Montalcino from Casanova di Neri is once again a truly remarkable and a monumental wine, not only in terms of the estate, but the entire region. This simply gorgeous Brunello impresses with its alluring nuances of ripe black raspberries and cherries, which are accented with exotic spices, herbs, cedar, dried violets, crushed stones and hints of licorice that all emerge beautifully from the glass. On the palate this is just as impressive, displaying an incredible polished texture and fantastic overall balance and poise. There is a wonderful combination of fresh acidity and underlying minerality that frames the core of gorgeous fruit. Everything all builds up to the marvelous finish, where it comes together to linger gracefully to complete this stunning wine. Year after year Cerretalto flirts with perfection and there is no exception in this vintage. This is another magical wine from the Neri Family that is magnificent in its youth, but shows incredible promise for a long, bright future ahead. 99/100

-- Parker: Of these new releases from this benchmark estate, the Casanova di Neri 2015 Brunello di Montalcino Cerretalto is my favorite wine. This Riserva is larger than life with ripe fruit, raspberry, cherry, spice, cola, root beer, mesquite and cedar. The wine offers a flashy and generous quality of fruit that unfolds over time with a multifaceted and multi-layered presentation. One thing that stands out here is the acidity that is bracing and tart at first but then succumbs to an important supporting role, rendering lasting freshness and persistence to the finish. With time, you get a flash of cherry and crème de cassis that seals the deal. 98+/100
