Trigone blanc 2015
91–92 /100
Lobenberg: Eine wunderbare Reife in der Nase. Feiner Toastgeruch mit Feuerstein. Goldgelb, steinig mineralisch, leichte Rosentöne, helle Kirsche, blumig. 91-92/100

Trigone blanc
-- Decanter: Le Soula don't release a wine unless it really is ready, and this 2015 Blanc is in an excellent spot right now. It's initially quite savoury on the nose, with handfuls of crushed dried herbs and a spicy white pepper twinkle. It opens out into confit lemon, vanilla, and fresh ginger, with a dusting of cumin. After some time in the glass, the profile has evolved again into bruised apple, hay, bread and honeycomb, so open and inviting. The acidity keeps everything in check, and there's a distinct fennel note on the finish. Deep in the proudly Occitan Fenouillèdes, Le Soula farm their 22ha of vines biodynamically, ferment with indigenous yeasts, and pay close attention to the whims of each vintage, adapting the work in the winery to suit the vintage. 95/100
