Lobenberg: Der Rhôneblend aus 70 Prozent Syrah und 30 Prozent Grenache beweist ganz klar dass die südliche Maremma sogar noch mehr kann als top Cabernet und Merlot. Der Wein strahlt mit einem tiefen Rubinrot im Glas. An der Nase hat der Tinata die unverfälschte Aromatik der Toskana: Dunkle Beeren, Lavendel, Thymian und Rosmarin. Im Mund dann der berauschenden Trinkfluss, satte dunkle Kirsche, schwarzer Pfeffer und mediterrane Würze. Auch roher Schinken, Blut und Eisen. Die saftige Säure harmoniert mit dem fein strukturierten Tannin. Absolut schick und raffiniert! 96-97/100

-- Parker: The organic Monteverro 2021 Tinata is a blend of Syrah and Grenache. It has a velvety texture and lasting richness. It showcases flavors of dark currant, black cherry and even a hint of tart blood orange. That touch of brightness is very much appreciated, especially considering the generous, medium-plus personality of this wine. My favorite of the three 2021 red wines by Monteverro is this Tinata.

-- Suckling: Spices such as cloves and white pepper highlight the dark fruit, bramble berries and graphite. Medium-bodied with racy fine tannins and very precise focus and length. Just the right amount of reduction. Nimble. A blend of 70% syrah and 30% grenache. Partially aged in concrete eggs. Drink or hold.

-- Jeb Dunnuck: The 2021 Tinata was the first of a 14-vintage vertical tasting of this cuvée, which is composed of Syrah and Grenache. Its lush bouquet opens with notes of fresh plum, violets, cracked pepper, and grilled rosemary. The palate is full, with a seamless feel, even acidity, and ripe tannins, followed by a chalky texture through the finish. Nicely balanced, I anticipate this being a very successful, age-worthy vintage for this wine. Drink over the coming 15 years. Bottle 1097 of 7873.
