Lobenberg: Aus biodynamischem Anbau. In der Nase ein herrlich duftendes, volles Birnenaroma und dazu Holunderblüte. Rauchig und mineralisch, ganz leicht ausgeprägter Holzton vom großen Fass. Im Mund extrem sauber. Ein beeriger, sehr kraftvoller Geschmack, schöner Druck am Gaumen. Rund und vollmundig im Körper mit intensivem Nachhall. Im Rückaroma ein kleiner Bittermandel-Touch. Der Wein ist der Gegenentwurf zu den vielen belanglosen Vertretern seiner Art und setzt damit Maßstäbe für Pinot Grigio! 92-94/100

-- Parker: Aged partly in steel and partly in big wooden barrels, the 2019 Alto Adige Pinot Grigio Porer (an organic and biodynamic wine) shows tinges of amber and copper that make for a so-called 'ramato' styled white (or rosé). The bouquet is expressive and bright with peach, ripe apple and a spicy hint of curry leaf or saffron. The lean-bodied wine shows good depth and dimension and ends with extra structure and a drying hint of crushed mineral. You might pair it with a shrimp étouffée. 91/100

Nuances of peach and yellow citrus linger through the medium-length yet clean finale. There’s a whole lot of character packed into the 2019 Porer. 90/100
