On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with a rounder, more enveloping profile than the Corton-Grèves, concluding with a nicely defined, mineral finish. 92-94/100

-- Galloni: The 2018 Corton Clos du Roi Grand Cru has a more delineated, focused bouquet than the Corton-Grèves, with mineral-infused red fruit intermingling with pressed flowers. The medium-bodied palate provides supple tannins. Quite candied on the midpalate, with a fine bead of acidity on the confit-styled, persistent finish. Just a delicious Corton. 91-93/100
