Alexandre Ma über:
Chateau Haut Marbuzet
As the elegance of iris meets the sweetness of rhubarb jam in the glass, the charm of Saint-Estèphe reveals itself naturally. Château Haut-Marbuzet, often known for its firm and structured character, draws its power inward in this vintage, revealing a gentler, more composed side. The blue clay terroir still imparts its signature tension, keeping the structure taut and tracing a precise, steady depth along the palate. Towards the finish, a subtle and less common saline note emerges, adding further layers and tension to the tasting. Based on its current performance, it should begin to develop notes of black truffle after 6 to 8 years of aging.
