Weingut über:
Emilio Moro Tempranillo
This wine, bearing the name of its creator, is the alma mater of the winery. Ever since the harvest of ‘98, this mark refers to wine produced using medium-aged vineyards, although Emilio Moro previously used it for crianzas and reserves. The 2021 vintage saw mild Spring temperatures, abundant rainfall in April and a summer with temperatures slightly lower than usual, which slowed the plants’ vegetative cycle. Rain was scarce at the beginning of Autumn, promoting the ripening of the grapes. Elaborated using grapes from medium-aged vineyards. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel tanks at controlled temperatures, with subsequent ageing in French and American oak barrels. Intense garnet in colour. A complex and expressive nose; the personality of the 2021 vintage translates into an interesting balance between the fresh notes of red fruit that are typical of the variety with riper hints of black fruits, coffee, and spices like vanilla and clove. Well- balanced in the mouth, with a medium structure and sweet tannins. Easy in the mouth, but with personality and a long, persistent and very pleasant finish.
