Lobenberg: Ansprechende, goldgelbe Farbe, sowie feine und anhaltende Perlage. In der Nase wunderbar fruchtiger Duft nach Marille, warmem Brot, Limettenzeste und Grapefruit. Im Mund sehr ausgewogen, gute Fülle, nussig-cremig, dicht gewirkt. Das Ganze wird dann aber von einer berauschenden Limettenfrische durchzogen und von wunderbarer, mundwässernder Saftigkeit aus Grapefruit und Apfel begleitet. Lang und delikat im mineralischen Nachhall. Ein archetypischer Vertreter der Cote de Blancs. 94+/100

-- Suckling: A stunningly vibrant Blanc de Blancs that could easily pass as Extra Brut. Excellent interplay of lemon freshness, creaminess and racy acidity on the elegant palate. The long and expressive finish makes me think of waves crashing over a rocky shoreline! A cuvee based on wines from the Grand Cru villages of Chouilly (44%), Cramant (24%) and Oger (5%), but because base wines from the 1er Cru villages are present – Cuis (21%) and Vertus (6%) – it only qualifies for the 1er Cru designation. 94/100

-- Jeb Dunnuck: Entirely from Premier and Grand Cru villages of the Côte des Blancs, the 2017 Champagne Blanc De Blancs Cuvée Fleuron Brut is a bright yellow hue and is compact and powerful, yet crystalline, with notes of crystalized ginger, fresh pear, honey, and lemon candies. Long on the palate, it’s elegant with ripe concentration, a core of fresh acidity, and a pristine finish. A superb wine from this vintage, it’s great now and will drink well over the next 6-8 years. 94/100
