Lobenberg: Le Mont ist die jüngste Parzelle. Sie kam 1957 dazu und weist noch etwas Silex nebst Tuffstein auf. Sie ergeben bei Huet meist die komplexesten Weine mit ausgeprägt mineralischer Note. Eine deutliche Steigerung zum Demi-Sec. Im Vergleich zum Riesling wäre das hier eher Auslese als Spätlese. Ein klassischer Moelleux. Im Bouquet findet man weiße Blüten, Apfel und etwas Honig. Auch etwas Orangenkonfitüre. Am Gaumen sehr klar und mit markanter Fruchtsüße aus Steinobst und ein wenig reifer Birne. Jung ein erfrischender Aperitif, gereift ein Speisenbegleiter zu Meeresfischen oder zur Apfel-Tarte. 94-95/100

Lush and intense but also pure, vital and tensioned on the palate, this elegant and seductive Le Mont offers a straightforward drive and a highly complex and energetic finish with grip and great mineral tension. A gorgeous, crystalline, persistently salty and tightly woven Chenin with great complexity and energy. Very attractive already today! Tasted in May 2019.
