Very perfumed, with a chalk and terra-cotta undertone to the plums and strawberries. Medium-bodied, this shows beautiful subtlety and finesse, with a roundness that builds on the palate. The Wine Palate über: Chateau Nenin

The 2023 Nénin is deep garnet-purple in color. The blend is 67% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Cabernet Sauvignon. It prances out with showy notes of ripe black plums and mulberries, opening out to reveal hints of crushed rocks, lavender oil, fertile loam, and garrigue. Medium-bodied, the palate is wonderfully fine and elegant, with a very fine-grained texture and seamless freshness, finishing long and minerally. Very impressive! This is the first time that a little Cabernet Sauvignon made it into the blend—planted after the acquisition by the Delon family in 1997, from cuttings taken from Las Cases. The alcohol is 13.39%.

Mocha, blood orange, creamy ripe damson and black fruits, a swirl of peony flowers, succulent but without being heavy, this is a great Nenin, showing potential of the property's 20 year old Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, used in the blend for the first time in this vintage. 40% new oak for ageing, 46hl/h yield, 3.68ph. Pomerol estate owned by the Delon family of Léoville Las Cases.

Schwarze Farbe. Intensive, feine, reine Nase mit reifen Früchten. Subtiles Ensemble, das ich zum ersten Mal als komplex bezeichne. Minutiös im Auftakt, schmackhaft in der Mitte, mit Geschmack und einem edlen Griff, entwickelt sich der Wein köstlich, vollständig und lang. Ein großer Erfolg. Zusammenstellung: 67 % Merlot, 30 % Cabernet Franc, 3 % Cabernet Sauvignon.

Am geradlinigen Gaumen mit seidiger Textur, engmaschigem Tanninkorsett und straffem gut strukturierten Körper. Im konzentrierten Finale mit Heidelbeere, tiefschürfender Terroirwürze, punktet dieses Jahr mit Finesse und Tiefgründigkeit. The 2023 Nénin is a classy wine that marries power with nuance. Cabernet Franc plays a prominent role here, and that comes through in its aromatic presence and overall feel. There's also a touch of Cabernet Sauvignon, which no doubt contributes to the wine's profile as well. Rose petal, mocha, spice, licorice, leather and cedar are all laced together in this powerhouse Pomerol. I can't wait to see where this goes.

Feiner, sehr typischer Pomerol-Duft, da ist immer dieser Hauch von schwarzem Trüffel mit im Spiel. Zarte rotbeerige Frucht, ausgeprägt floral mit dezenter Reduktion.
