Lobenberg: Eines der Brot und Butter Weingüter in Saint Emilion, die immer stimmen. Fombrauge, Grand Mayne, Grand Pontet etc.. Alles passt, alles ist archetypisch, moderner Saint Emilion. Aus der Gruppe um Bernard Magrez, dem auch Pape Clement gehört. Typische Saint Emilion Nase des Jahres 2018, reife Lakritze, Veilchen, viel schwarze Frucht, Schwarzkirsche, die Nase ist fein und elegant, trotz der Wucht. Süßer Mund, sehr aromatisch, sehr geschmackvoll, passt gut, ein bisschen trocken vom Holz, ein bisschen zu extrahiert. Aber in Summe harmonisch und gut getroffen. Nicht groß, aber durchaus fein. 94-95/100

Floral and spice overtones add perfume to this super-expressive, inviting Saint-Émilion from Bernard Magrez. The 2018 is 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Tasted four times. 91-94/100
