Lobenberg: Ein Château, das zu Lafite Rothschild gehört. Fast immer besser und interessanter als der Zweitwein Carruades de Lafite. Eine ähnliche Konstellation wie Clerc Milon bei Mouton-Rothschild, wenngleich durch den höheren Merlotanteil hier der Unterschied zum Erstwein doch recht deutlich ist. Was zuerst bei Duhart Milon in 2020 auffällt, ist der enorme Ansturm an roter Frucht. Schattenmorelle und rote Johannisbeere, sehr frisch. Überhaupt nicht wie ich 2020 hier erwartet hätte. Sehr feiner Mund, sehr klassisch, lang und vibrierend, gut verwoben. Gar nicht 2020, sondern eher ein frisches Jahr. Erinnert mich sehr an 2019. Gute Länge. Sehr schicker Duhart Milon. 96-97+/100

-- Decanter: Suave, elegant and calmly confident. A masterclass in high-definition winemaking where all the elements are presented harmoniously with structure, freshness, complexity and a wide expansive finish. Tannins are well integrated giving support to the shining black Cabernet fruit that has strength, power and concentration but delivered underneath the savoury salinity, liquorice spice and minerality. There’s something very special about this. I love the sense of discretion, a wine that knows it has star quality but it’s not shouting about it. Pure and poised - incredibly inviting! A great buy. 97/100

-- Suckling: This is so refined with beautiful currant, berry and some subtle chocolate and coffee. It’s full and very subtle with fine tannins that have a long finish. Such purity and finesse with structure. Fresh and savory. 72% cabernet sauvignon and 28% merlot. 95-96/100

-- Jeb Dunnuck: Lots of tobacco, damp earth, chocolate, and lead pencil notes define the 2020 Château Duhart-Milon. Medium to full-bodied, it has a beautifully balanced mouthfeel, loads of blue and black fruits, and ripe yet certainly present tannins. Its relatively plush, rounded style is not too dissimilar from the 2016, but it offers ample structure as well. The blend is 72% Cabernet Sauvignon and 28% Merlot, and it hit 13% natural alcohol. This is another classic, concentrated, impressive wine from this team. 94-96/100

-- Gerstl: Zarter aber wunderschön aromatischer Duft, würzig, floral, rotbeerig. Das ist absolut genial, ich kann mich nicht erinnern jemals einen so grandiosen Duhart probiert zu haben, der tänzelt, der singt, gleichzeitig zeigt er sich enorm konzentriert und vollmundig, eindrückliche Eleganz, sinnliche Aromatik, ein emotional berührendes Weinerlebnis. 19/20

Château Duhart-Milon als Weingut zu bezeichnen, wäre irreführend. Der Wein stammt von 66 Hektar Rebfläche im Pauillac, die 1962 von der Familie Rothschild erworben wurden.
