Heiner Lobenberg über:
Richebourg Grand Cru 2015

/100

So expressiv. Voller Kirsche. 100+/100

Tim Atkin über: Richebourg Grand Cru

-- Tim Atkin: -- Atkin: This comes from an old vine plot of 0.32 hectares, ranging in age between 60 and 80 years’ old. It’s a remarkable wine that’s just a step short of perfection. Elegant and restrained, but with reserves of power and understated concentration, this is subtle, alluring, beautifully balanced Pinot with incredible palate length. 99/100

Winespectator über: Richebourg Grand Cru

-- Winespectator: Pure and elegant, exhibiting a lush texture that envelops rose, strawberry, cherry and spice aromas and flavors. Really ethereal, with the flavors gathering speed as they play out on the long, kaleidoscopic finish. Shows a bit more oak as this opens up, but put this away for 10 years. A stellar red. Best from 2023 through 2050. 99/100

Galloni über: Richebourg Grand Cru

-- Galloni: Dark, bright medium red. Knockout nose combines aromas of black cherry, black raspberry, dark chocolate, coffee, mocha and smoky silex. Powerful on entry, then incredibly silky and seamless but vibrant too, with thick flavors of black raspberry and dark chocolate lifted by a piquant citrus quality. Voluminous and sweet but tightly wound, this utterly compelling wine finishes with great energy and length and a refreshing note of bitter orange that stimulates the salivary glands. And yet I sense that I'm only seeing the tip of the iceberg today. These Grivot grand crus are showing spectacularly now. If they don't shut down in bottle, that will be because they have perfect balance. 98/100

Parker über: Richebourg Grand Cru

-- Parker: The 2015 Richebourg Grand Cru has a very intense bouquet, like many Richebourgs a little standoffish at first, though it soon opens up with powerful aromas of black cherries, anise, orange zest and wet stones. You still come away with the impression that you are only witnessing the tip of the aromatic iceberg. The palate is medium-bodied with tensile tannin, vibrant red and black fruit with hints of mandarin and balsamic. It crescendos with multilayered, mineral-rich black fruit with a healthy pinch of white pepper and an otherworldly prolonged aftertaste. Stunning. 97-99/100
