Lobenberg: Der tintenschwarze Redigaffi ist aus 100% Merlot gekeltert und 16 Monate in neuen Barriques gereift. Expressive, nuancierte Aromatik. Reichlich süße Aromen von blauen und schwarzen Beeren unterlegt mit Mineralaromen, etwas Minze, Schoko und Gewürzen. Große Struktur, warmes und langes Finale, dabei genug Struktur und Säuregerüst für viele Jahre. Hat was von Kalifornien und Pomerol, sehr kraftvoll, Tannin bis zum Abwinken und würzig, groß! Wahrscheinlich der beste Super-Tuscan und in guten Jahren von den Degustatoren immer mit bis zu 100 Punkten bewertet. 97-98/100

Suckling über: Redigaffi

-- Suckling: --Suckling: Superb wine here, offering aromas of dark berries, tobacco, tar, blackberries and black cherries. It changes all the time and is very complex with hints of meat. On the palate it's full-bodied and very well refined, showing wonderful tannin tension and polished texture. It closes with an amazing finish that lasts for minutes and turns to pure fruit. Better in 2018 but a fabulous young wine to taste now. A modern example of the legendary 1997 but more elegant. 99/100

-- Parker: The 2013 Redigaffi is a masterpiece from Coastal Tuscany. This is a phenomenal Merlot that offers so much intensity and generosity. These traits don't come easy and great risk is taken to give the grapes as much time as needed to ripen on the vines before harvest. Aromas of dark cherry, spice, wet earth and grilled herb are developed with stunning focus and precision. This is a thickly layered wine that literally sticks to your gums with gripping presence and ample power. The alcohol is is high and so is the dry extract, but both elements are well balanced and integrated. Ultimately, more importance is given to the complexity of the bouquet and it's fluid, ever-changing behavior. This wine just begs to be consumed, but bigger rewards await those who have the patience to wait. Don't miss this beauty. 98/100

-- Falstaff: Funkelndes, tiefdunkles Rubin mit Violett. Verführerische Nase mit viel dunkler Beerenfrucht, Brombeere und Cassis, im Hintergrund edle dunkle Schokolade. Am Gaumen geschliffenes, feinmaschiges Tannin, das sich lange aufbaut, viel präsente Frucht, viel fester Druck, im Nachhall dezent erdige Noten. 96/100
