On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, fleshy but mineral, with an ample core of juicy fruit, fine tannins and a saline finish. This might surpass the Pruliers this year. 91-93/100

-- Galloni: The 2017 Nuit Saint-Georges Roncière 1er Cru (Grivot uses the singular and not the plural Roncières) is pure and charming on the nose of raspberry preserve, briar, brown spices and a touch of pencil box. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannin and a fine bead of acidity, tightening up toward the second half and leading to a saline, quite penetrating finish. Good potential here, but afford it four or five years in bottle. 91-93/100
