Lobenberg: Der Aux Boudots ist in 2014 wunderbar floral. Keine Reduktion wie in 2013, sondern zarte Beerigkeit und Sauerkirsche mit Schlehe. Am Gaumen hat der N-S-G eineTransparenz eines Clos de la Marechale von Mugnier, erinnert fast an einen Chambolle!. Blind würde man ihn sicher in eine andere Appellation verorten, denn das ist hoch edler, super klarer und fokussierter Stoff. Einer der besten aus Nuits-St-Georges, auch weil kein neues Holz Einsatz findet und er dadurch noch klarer wird. 95+/100

-- Parker: The 2014 Nuits St Georges 1er Cru les Boudots was quite reduced on the nose when I tasted it, more than other 2014s. The palate is underpinned by fine tannin, very structured and with plenty of finesse. I very much like the acidity here and the elegance that even the reduction does not disguise. Long and tender in the mouth, this is a classy Boudots in the making. One of Etienne's more feminine wines. 92-94/100

-- Burghound: Pronounced reduction completely dominates the nose. The full-bodied and muscular middle weight plus flavors also possess excellent mid-palate concentration before culminating in a velvety, seductive and once again beautifully complex, long and wonderfully persistent finale. Note however that despite the seductive mouth feel this is indisputably built-to-age and is going to need it. 91-94/100
