-- Parker: The 2020 Reserva Branco is mostly Arinto with 35% old vines in a field blend, aged in a 60/40 mixture of used French oak and stainless steel for 12 months. It comes in at 13.4% alcohol. Feeling rather full-bodied in mouthfeel and moderately intense, this is a well-balanced wine that is simply designed for food. It has the stuffing and the structure but not the personality to make it a great porch-sipper. It still seems impressive while young, with the potential to improve. This is just the second vintage of this. I suspect it can eventually do even better. There were 6,000 bottles produced. 90/100

Pursuing an old dream of a joint wine venture, this was how Maçanita Vinhos was “born”. This Maçanita White Reserva is the result of mixing the experience of the two winemakers, brother and sister, lots of “discussions”, lots of fun, all resumed in this bottle of the Brother and Sister Maçanita White Reserva 2020. We hope you’ll enjoy. All grapes are hand-picked into 18kg cases. In the winery, whole bunch press, cold settling, fermented 40% inox - 60% neutral oak barrels, bâtonnage. 12 months ageing. Yellow citrus color, fresh aroma with citrus and mineral notes. In the mouth it is silky with fantastic acidity, making the wine very firm.
