Der Optimus legt direkt die Marschrichtung von L’Aventure fest: Opulente Nase mit dunkler, hedonistischer Frucht. Beerenfrüchte wie Blaubeeren, Brombeeren und eingemachte Himbeeren sowie eingelegte Zwetschgen machen den Auftakt, Bitterschokolade und milde Gewürze wie schwarzer Pfeffer und Leder versprechen komplexes Weinvergnügen. Mit seidigen Tanninen und mineralischem Back-up wirkt die Frucht am Gaumen saftig-frisch. Mit viskoser Haptik und samtigem Gerbstoff vereint er Kraft, Frucht und Komplexität mit langem Nachhall. Ein Wein mit großer Balance, der trotz seiner Zugänglichkeit von einigen Jahren Flaschenreife profitieren wird. 95/100

Its deep purple color is followed by classy notes of black raspberries, spice box, dried flowers and underbrush in a full-bodied, balanced and lengthy package. It lacks the depth and length of the top cuvee here, but it is nevertheless a beautiful wine to drink over the coming 7-8 years. 92/100,
