Lobenberg: Giusto di Notri ist der Flagship-Wein von Tua Rita und vielleicht das beste Médoc-Cuvée aus Italien. Der Blend besteht hauptsächlich aus Cabernet Sauvignon mit zehn Prozent Merlot und zehn Prozent Cabernet Franc. 18 monatiger Ausbau in französischen Barriques, 40 Prozent davon in Zweitbelegung, der Rest ist neu. Klar leuchtendes Rubinrot mit violetten Reflexen im Glas. Die Nase ist verlockend ätherisch und würzig mit Lorbeer, einem Hauch Vanille und Wacholder, gefolgt von saftiger Cassis, Schlehe und dunklen Pflaumen. Dann im Mund – bam! Unglaublich saftig mit vielen Blaubeeren und Schwarzkirschen, die sich an das elegant strukturierte Tannin-Gerüst klammern, unterlegt von Graphit und mineralischen Noten. Der Wein hat das Zeug, einige Jahre im Keller zu reifen und ist dennoch heute schon schlichtweg beeindruckend. Viel Würze, Zedernholz, dunkle Schokolade, Cassis und Brombeere. Am Ende schwebt noch getrocknete Minze daher und gibt zusätzlich noch einen Frischekick. Wenn der Redigaffi ein Petrus aus der Toskana ist, dann ist dieser Giusto di Notri der Calon Ségur aus der Maremma. Ein großartiger Wein! 96+/100

-- Parker: The 2017 Giusto di Notri is a special 25th anniversary bottling that is chiseled, sharp and focused. The small part of Merlot gives it some added sweetness (the percentage of Merlot was slightly reduced in this vintage), the touch of Cabernet Franc contributes the power, freshness and dark fruit, and along with a starring role of Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine has lots of beautiful plushness restrained by a tight, disciplined linearity. This vintage saw less time in barrique (about 16 months) but the barrels had more toasting. There is a lasting mineral note of chalk or limestone that frames the dark and opulence quality of fruit at its core. The bouquet is stunning. The wine treads lightly in the palate, with a very elegant and nuanced approach. It really is another gorgeous wine from Tua Rita that shows the profound skill of this winemaking team even when faced with a hot vintage such as this. 96/100

-- Falstaff: Kraftvolles, funkelndes Rubinrot mit leichtem Violett. Eröffnet mit Noten nach Kardamom und Koriandersamen, dann viel Himbeere und Cassis. Satt und stoffig in Ansatz und Verlauf, satte Kraft, etwas Gewürznelken, im Finale viel Druck, braucht aber noch Lagerung. 95/100

-- Jeb Dunnuck: An attractive mix of blackcurrant, blackberry, graphite, and violet emerge from the 2017 Giusto di Notri (80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% each Cabernet Franc and Merlot). It is full and long, with ripe fruit and tannins that flood through the mid-palate, followed by warming oak spices that perfume the finish. This plush and sunny wine is drinking beautifully now and will drink well over the next 10-15 years. 95/100
