Lobenberg: Der Corton Bressandes ist in der Nase schwarzfruchtig dunkler und zugleich würziger als der Corton Grand Cru, hier stehen die schwarzen Oliven, die Holzkohle, die schwarze Erde und provencalische Kräuter mit Schokolade im Vordergrund. Eine ausgeprägte Garrigues-Nase, Wacholder, Holunder, Minze, verbrannte Noten, darunter schwarze Kirsche, würzige Erde, Eukalyptus, deutliche Holzkohle, Johannisbrotbaum, zugleich aber auch noch feiner und verspielter als der etwas monolitnischere Corton, sehr ausgeprägte Thymianwürze in der Nase und auch sehr deutlich im Mund. Sattes Tannin, der strengste Wein des Hauses. Auch Fenchel und Anis im Mund. Sehr spannender und komplexerer, extrem dynamischer und rassiger Mund mit unglaublich viel verschiedenen würzigen Noten. Dieser Wein ist würzig, rassig, erdig und in dieser burschikosen Kraft ein großer Wein und wirklich eigenständig anders. Unendlich lang mit Salz und feinem Bitterstoff. Der Bressandes ist komplexer und maskulin raffinierter, athletisch drathiger als der druckvoll geradeaus laufende und charmante Corton, der Genießer muss da seiner Vorliebe folgen, groß sind sie beide. 97+/100

-- Gerstl: Dieses geniale Duftbild wird vor allem von schwarzer Frucht geprägt, dennoch ist es raffiniert burgundisch, auch wenn das feine Himbeer nur noch leise mitschwingt. Am Gaumen ist pure Raffinesse angesagt, der Wein gibt sich ist klassisch, klar, präzis und charaktervoll, dazu kommt dieser unwiderstehliche Charme, alles wirkt so offen und zugänglich, irgendwie auch völlig unkompliziert, einfach unendlich gut, aber auch wirklich gross, ein Wein mit sagenhaftem Potential, sensationelle Länge. 20/20

-- Galloni: A dark, exotic beauty, the 2012 Corton-Bressandes is utterly captivating. Like the Corton, the Corton-Bressandes is surprisingly open and expressive today. Black cherries, menthol and cloves are some of the many notes that blossom as the 2012 fills out its broad-shouldered frame. The explosive, tannic finish points to a very bright structure. Here, too, the wine's overall balance is simply magnificent. 95/100

Lively even now but with depth and excellent length. 17,5/20 --Parker: The 2012 Corton-Bressandes Grand Cru has a similar bouquet to the Corton rouge, but with just a little more vigor and erring slightly more towards a red fruit profile. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent ripe tannins on the entry. It has a fine citric thread but there is more structure and grip on the finish compared to the Corton Grand Cru, with a touch of spice furnishing the finish. Excellent. 93-95/100
