Lobenberg: In 2022 erneut aus der Chateaureserve gekauft, perfekt gelagert und großartig entwickelt. Fast schwarz, undurchdringlich. Likör, schwarze Kirschen und schwarze Beeren im Aroma, Trüffel, Erde, geröstetes Fleisch. Extrem reichhaltig und konzentriert in Nase und Mund. Erstklassig strukturiert, sehr kraftvoll, extrem tanninreich, erdig und strotzend von schwarzen Früchten im Mund, etwas verschlossen, sehr lagerfähig, braucht Zeit. 95-96/100

-- Suckling: For a vintage that was very closed at the beginning, this is now so effusive and sensual. The hint of salted caramel beautifully complements the rich red fruit character. Also notes of licorice, cinnamon and star anise. Rich and full-bodied, but very elegant and silky. The power is underplayed, but there's no mistaking the stunning concentration and finesse. Drink or hold. 97/100

Medium to full bodied with beautiful structure, a solid, full mid-palate, a smooth, precise texture and a long finish, this is a smoking bottle of wine! Give it another 3 to 5 years in the cellar and then drink over the following 20.96/100
