This has real complexity and breeding. The palate displays exquisite balance, expertly integrated oak and perfectly judged acidity. This has real swagger and pedigree from start to finish. Fresh and at the same time sensual. Fabulous from any angle and superior to Roumier's Bonnes-Mares. Tasted blind at the Burgfest 2017 tasting. 97/100

-- Parker: The 2017 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Amoureuses is utterly charming, bursting with aromas of rose petals, violets, raspberries and blood orange. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, supple and satiny, tenderly caressing the palate after the denser, more broad-shouldered Bonnes-Mares. With a pure core of fragrant fruit and supple structuring tannins, it's the quintessential Amoureuses. I suspect it will gain in depth and mass with further barrel and bottle age. 93-95+/100
