Lobenberg: Der Wein ist immer etwas verschlossener und kompakter als etwa Echezeaux, aber die Frucht ist dennoch strahlend und transparent. Feine Mokkanoten, ein bisschen Pfeffer, vielschichtig und komplex. Faiveley hat 3 Plots im Vougeot, zwei davon recht weit unten im tiefgründigen, lehmigen Bereich, der nie Trockenstress hat und einen in der Mitte. Ein sehr erdiger, intensiver Duft mit dunkelroten Beeren, Tropenholz und Herbstlaub, süßen Erdnoten und nassem Lehm. Der Mund ist eine Tour de Force, unglaubliche Konzentration und Fülle, wow, so viel Fruchtdruck. Die Tannine kleiden die Zunge wie feinkörniger Sand aus. Dann schiebt das Salz nach, irre Säure. Unglaublich gut gelungen dieses Jahr. So mag ich Clos de Vougeot wohl trinken. Toll! 96-97/100

-- Parker: The 2022 Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru is deep and chunky, offering up aromas of burning embers, dark berries, orange zest, violets and spices. Full-bodied, layered and muscular, with a blocky core of fruit and tannin despite very gentle extraction, it will reward a bit of patience. 92-94/100

-- Galloni: The 2022 Clos Vougeot Grand Cru is tightly wound on the nose, demanding coaxing from the glass: cranberry, wild strawberry, forest floor and light estuarine scents. It gains intensity with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with a sucrose entry, slightly candied compared to the Echézeaux and spicier: a sprinkling of white pepper, clove and allspice towards the finish. I suspect that this will bide its time in bottle. 91-93/100
